LOS ANGELES, CA — Today, California Environmental Voters (EnviroVoters) released the following statement in response to the Supreme Court’s ruling on National Republican Senatorial Committee v. Federal Election Commission, striking down limits on how much political parties can spend on candidates, coming on the heels of the most expensive primary election in California history.

“The Roberts Supreme Court has delivered regular voters yet another gut punch. Apparently, corporations and billionaires don’t have enough power and influence in our political system, so six unelected judges need to keep helping them along.”
