“Tonight is a historic night, marking the first time California elects a Latino governor. In a moment where we’re seeing a sea change across the nation, Governor-Elect Becerra is the right leader to lead the fight against a hostile federal government and for corporate accountability to ensure the health, safety, and economic sustainability of California. Our work as a movement is not done. Our collective action needs to continue so that these once-in-a-generation election results turn into real change for Californians.”
