“As ballots are counted in California, voters across the country have delivered a verdict tonight, and it’s an unmistakable rebuke of corruption and corporate kickbacks. At a moment when the Trump Administration is attacking our democracy, dismantling our climate and health protections, and handing more power to corporate polluters, voters turned out in force and showed us exactly where they stand. They want corporate accountability, lower energy bills, healthy communities, affordable insurance, clean air, clean water, and a future powered by clean energy. With progressives taking over both the House and Senate and Governor-Elect Becerra ready to lead the fight against Trump, voters have handed California a powerful mandate to meet this moment.”
