Our annual awards serve as the primary fundraising event supporting our non-profit initiatives at EnviroVoters. Our organization works year-round to build the political will and power to solve the climate crisis, advance equity and create a roadmap for global action. We cultivate and elect environmental champions, turn electoral victories into policy wins, hold lawmakers accountable, and build political power among all communities across the state to achieve climate justice.
Join us for an evening of music, drinks, and small bites as we celebrate this year’s Badass in Green Honorees alongside a room full of climate champions, activits, CA leaders, enviro partners, and anyone who cares about solving the climate crisis.
Last year’s Badass in Green Awards sold out, so you don’t want to miss it! VIP tickets include access to the Badass Pre-Reception with presenters, honorees, and special guests.
Tickets start at $100 for adults, with all funds supporting our nonprofit mission to advance bold climate action. Early Bird Special until March 25: buy one ticket and you’ll get a second ticket free!

Prior to being elected Speaker, Rivas served as the Chair of the Assembly Agriculture Committee and as Vice-Chair of the influential Latino Legislative Caucus. A lifelong resident of the 29th Assembly District, Rivas previously served two terms on the San Benito County Board of Supervisors prior to becoming an Assemblymember. A long-time champion of the environment, Rivas won bipartisan support for the Oil Transportation Safety Act, which improved the state’s preparedness to protect coastal regions after a potential spill of non-floating oil. Further, Rivas has led efforts to accelerate the construction of renewable energy and ensure the state explores all options to use public lands and oceans to effectively sequester carbon.Â
Rivas graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Government from CSU Sacramento and later earned a Master’s in Public Administration from San Jose State University. Speaker Rivas lives in Hollister with his wife, Christen, and their children.Â
Ana Karen Estrada is a first-generation college student graduating this year from California State University, Northridge (CSUN), with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. Ana grew up in the San Fernando Valley in a working-class household and is prideful in her Mexican-American roots. She enjoys conducting advocacy and political work that involves uplifting her community and creating spaces to increase youth involvement. She serves on various youth-powered platforms, including being on the Executive Board of the San Fernando Valley Young Democrats (SFVYD) as a College Liaison representing CSUN, President of the Matador Democrats, and now in her new role as Chair of the Board of Directors for Project Super Bloom PAC. Ana is ecstatic to continue fulfilling Project Super Bloom PAC’s mission of getting more progressive candidates elected with a history of advocating for youth values while breaking down barriers and providing paid opportunities for students to participate in politics.Â
Eric Warmoth co-founded Project Super Bloom in 2021 to create a pathway for more students to get involved in state legislative campaigns via paid opportunities. Eric has worked on a number of campaigns throughout California and the nation, working to elect progressive candidates up and down the ballot. He recently completed a fellowship in the California State Assembly with Assemblymember Chris Ward. Eric graduated from Claremont McKenna College in 2022 with a degree in Environmental Analysis and Public Policy.Â
