SB 1420

Fossil Fuel Hydrogen

This bill would have put a weak and harmful definition of "clean” hydrogen into law that would have included dirty fossil energy and also weakened environmental review for hydrogen projects that meet this definition. This bill was later amended to exclude this harmful definition. Legislators were scored against their votes in support of this bill up until the bill was significantly narrowed down.
