ACA 16

The California Green Amendment

The right to a clean and healthy environment should supersede government's willingness to prioritize it, or changes in administrations. ACA 16, The California Green Amendment, is a constitutional amendment that recognizes the importance of a healthy environment, clean air and water for all Californians in the State's Constitution, the supreme law of the land. The constitutional amendment would have uplifted the health and environmental rights of those living in environmental justice communities who are disproportionately people of color and low-income Californians.
