SB 51:

The Whistleblower and Public Data Protection Act

Author: Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson

This bill protects whistleblowers and scientists by ensuring that federal employees do not lose state licensure for revealing violations of law, unethical actions, or dangers to public health and safety. The bill also directs state agencies to protect scientific information and data from censorship or destruction by the federal government.
