Environmental justice seat on CTC

The California Transportation Commission (CTC) makes critical policy and funding decisions on transportation projects throughout the state. This bill directs the governor, when appointing commissioners to the CTC, to use every effort to ensure that the CTC has a diverse membership with expertise in transportation issues, taking into consideration factors including socio-economic background and professional experience, including working in or representing disadvantaged communities.
